Weekend of Fun

This last weekend I went home to California for my friend Chelcie's bridal shower. It just so happened that when I went home my dad came to Utah for the BYU game. I was sad because i did not get to see him but Chase kept him company. My dad went to Chase's football game Friday night and said that Chase made the best catch he has ever seen a non pro football player make! It made me sad that I was not there to witness this amazing catch, but it did leave quite a mark on Chase's hip. The next day my dad took Chase and two of Chase's friends to the football game..nothing like male bonding :) While Chase was doing all his boy stuff I was busy in California decorating and cooking for the shower. The shower was beautiful! My Mom and I made chocolate dip strawberries and fruit sticks... they were yummy! Here is my sister Lori, Chelcie, and I at the shower... My favorite girls...Sunday night before I flew back to Utah we had all the family over for dinner. I love them so much! My little nephews are the cutest things ever! Luke is such a chunky monkey i love it! Here is a video of Joshua at the dinner table. He made everyone go around and make a witch laugh and if you did not do a good one he would say "your witch is not working!" it was so funny (Loris was by far the best witch laugh). He also has this new thing that when you ask him to do something he says " I cant I'm Busy" I wonder where he gets that from Brooke:) I just love family!

*Witchy Women*

My Roommates and I decided that we should create a night for just us girls, so we created a witch night. We decorated our whole house, made soup and dessert, and even had a pot of magical potion! It was so much fun! Its always fun having a night of girls, games, and dressing up! My friend Rebekah had the cutest outfit of all! She is 4 months pregnant and over her belly she made a sign saying "Goblin on the Way"

Game Day and Pumpkin Carving

It was freezing at the BYU game on Saturday but Chase and I are real troopers! It was raining most of the game but then towards the end of the third quarter is started snowing! I now remember the one thing i do not like about the winter... the cold... but Chase let me wear one of his gloves and we brought ponchos so it kept us dry.. all i have to say is that we are true fans for sitting through that weather! After the game we got all warm again and had some friends over to carve pumpkins. We cooked all the seeds and ate them, they were amazing! i have to say Chase's and Perris' pumpkin's were pretty scary while me and Lisa went for the more "cute" look.

Before
After

Chase did E.T and I did the Ghost!

*Creppy Crawlers*

I love October because it gives me an excuse to get scared! If you know me i get scared pretty easily, so this time of month im always in the mood for scary movies, haunted houses, and scary stories. Chase and I went to a haunted house last week.. it was his fist time ever going in one.. but sad to say it was not that great of a haunted house so we are going to a different one next week so he can see how cool they really are! Another thing i love about October is that it gives me an excuse to watch the movie Hocus Pocus... haha i know its cheesy but i just love it!

So i have a story about something that happened in our house a couple weeks ago.. me and my roommate were in our garage and we saw this big black thing and then i realized it was a tarantula in our garage! it freaked us out! my roommate then got in her car and ran it over to kill it, it was kind of funny. So we got our house sprayed but just yesterday we found another one by our window! I love our house but its not fun being the closest house to the mountain because then all the bugs come to our house! Here is a picture i took with my phone... So now i always make chase look around to make sure there are no spiders before i go to bed!
